29th December
Irish band The Rose Ponies have recorded Boo's co-written song 'Fire Escape'.

13th December
Newcastle date moved to Carlisle. Japanese and Australian dates with Eddi Reader added.

12th December
Llangollen date added.

29th November
1st February date added at the Bein Inn, Glenfarg. Boo is teaching at the songwriter's workshop on the following two days.
The Marti Pellow single is out in Germany with an extra track.

26th November
The Marti Pellow single I've Been Around The World entered the UK charts at 28. Track 2 is co-written with Boo and Chris Difford of Squeeze.
Eddi Reader's Dritwood will be released in Japan with extra tracks by Universal on January 23rd 2002.

23rd November
New dates added to February solo tour. July dates with Clive Gregson added.
El Niņo release their new album on Ignition records in Feb 2002.
Haven records have put back the release of Baptist Hosiptal to early 2002.

7th November
More tour dates for February are being confirmed.
The extra tracks on the Japanese release of Eddi Reader's Driftwood are live versions of Joke, The Wanting Kind, La Vie en Rose / Candyfloss, Kiteflyer's Hill and Find My Love. There will be a Japanese promo-only single 'Holiday' to accompany the album release.
The Swan Dive album June was released in the UK on 5th November (Haven records).
The new Brian Kennedy single 'So What If It Rains' will be a promo-only release. The next commercial single release will be the co-written 'The Wandering Kind'.

31st October
Boo is planning a solo tour next February. The one confirmed date so far is on the 28th at the Purcell Room, South Bank, London.
Eddi Reader's Driftwood is to be released with exclusive tracks by Universal in Japan.
The Rosalie Deighton album Truth Drug finally came out on the 22nd of October. The single 'Instant Fix' will be released in January.

17th October
The new El Niņo EP features the tracks 'Nothing To It', 'Glow', 'Can't Say No' & 'Euphoria' is out soon. Boo helped mix the EP and played tambourine on the last track.

16th October
Danish act Elle have recorded Boo's song Love Proof
Lifting Me features on the Japanese and Australian editions of The Best Of The Corrs.

11th October
The new Brian Kennedy single will be 'So What If It Rains' b/w the Boo-written 'When Will You Let Yourself Be Loved?'. Available in Ireland in a couple of weeks.

10th October
Boo is currently touring the UK with Eddi Reader. You can buy Eddi's new CD Driftwood on the tour or in the USA from ImportCD.com, who are also stocking Boo's new EP Extras.
Rosalie Deighton's album has been put back a week to October 29th. The Brian Kennedy album was brought forward to October 5th and is now available in Ireland.
El Niņo release a 4-track EP in the USA soon. Boo produced this and says "I think I play tambourine on one track".
Hafdis Huld, ex-singer with Gus Gus, has recorded a 10" single 'Ski Jumper' b/w 'Happily Ever After' which she co-wrote with Boo. A-side is produced by Dodo producer Jim Abbiss.

30th September
Boo is touring the UK with Eddi Reader in October. Boo will be selling a new CD EP Extras on the tour, with release by Haven records on October 29th.

13th September
Boo has co-written three songs on the new Swandive album 'June'. Available in Japan (V2 Records) or direct from Swandive in the USA. Haven records will be releasing it in the UK on November 5th, with an exclusive extra track 'Automatically Sunshine'.

15th August
Boo has written seven tracks for the new Eddi Reader album 'Driftwood' which will be available on Eddi's October tour and on the internet.

7th August
Boo has written three songs (The Reason We Are Here, Looking In The Wrong Place, The Wandering Kind) for the new Brian Kennedy album 'Get On With Your Short Life' (released October 14th).
Rosalie Deighton's new album 'Truth Drug' (co-produced by Boo) is out on October 22nd. The promo-only single 'Bruised' (co-written by Boo) is out October 1st.

26th July
Boo's unavailable second album Baptist Hosiptal will be reissued in the UK by Haven records, with 4 extra tracks and a new sleeve featuring notes written by Boo.

13th July
B-side of the forthcoming Marti Pellow single (released November 19th) is a Hewerdine composition 'Out Of This World'. Oh dear. I wouldn't bother with his website, it takes ages to download and it's rubbish.

29th June
Boo makes a guest appearance singing on the new Colin Reid album 'Tilt' (Topic Records).
